This past weekend saw some of the LMST team supporting the Goatham's Great Kent Cycle Ride. This fabulous ride was in aid of raising money for two fabulous charities, The Kent Sports Trusts and Help for Heroes. More information can be found on what these fabulous charities do via their websites www.kentsportstrust.org & www.helpforheroes.org.uk
Around 70 riders took part over the 3-day event which saw the riders complete around 220miles across the 3 days. It covered some of Kent’s steepest hills and included an emotional and poignant service at the Battle of Britain Memorial towards the end of the second day led by the legendary Geordie Steve. Many of the riders are currently serving in the British Armed forces or are Brave Veterans, many of whom have received invaluable support from Help for Heroes since returning from War Zones. We even had a few Celebrities to look after in the form of Double Olympic Champion Dame Kelly Homes (A British Armed Forces Veteran herself) and Previous Ashes Winner Geraint Jones MBE.
The LMST team aided the riders with necessary massage and injury advice and treatments throughout each day, making ourselves available at every water station and lunch stop. It was an honour and a privilege to support this excellent event and lots of new friends were made.
WE CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!!
Kent Sports Trust & Help For Heroes THANK YOU FOR HAVING US!

Tight Hamstrings can be particularly problematic for a lot of different athletes. It is important to do regular stretching of the hamstrings to reduce the risk of injury and improve performance.
Take a look at the video I put together for Cadence Cycling Performance Centre, this stretch can be used for all athletes not just cyclists
